Mehdi Sejdiu is currently working as a political advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosova. He coordinates and reports on several Kosova-EU related activities including the conclusion of the visa liberalization process, EU membership application, SAA and IPA process. He studied political science in Heidelberg University (MA) and Istanbul Şehir University (BA). He is a former IPS fellow of the German Bundestag, worked in several research institutions in Germany and Kosova, those include the Institute for Political Science Heidelberg, Balkan Policy Research Group, Group for Legal and Political Studies, etc. His interests include de-balkanizing the Balkans.
