Short biography

Arin Demir currently works as an Associate at Global Relations Forum (GRF), an independent, non-profit membership association committed to being a platform related to international affairs and global issues.  Arin is NATO 2030 Global Fellow at NATO Defense College Foundation & Turkish Heritage Organization (THO), sponsored by NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division. As a Global Fellow, he contributed to NATO’s The Greek-Turkish Young Leaders Symposium (GTYLS) on Security as a member of the cohort. He was also part of Stiftung Mercator’s Turkey Europe Future Forum Fellowship (TEFF) and Friedrich Naumann Foundation’s (FNF) Turkish-Israeli Civil Society Forum (TICSF). Previously, Arin was the director of foreign news at daktilo1984 journal in cooperation with the FNF, which aims to bring together experts from academia, media, and business to deliver policy insights. He also served as a non-executive director on the board of directors. Demir earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Relations from TOBB University of Economics and Technology. He holds a Master of Science degree in Public Policy from the University of Bristol, Faculty of Law.
