Short biography

Asena Soydaş is a project manager specialised in the governance of emerging technologies and digital policy. At the Bertelsmann Stiftung, she works on ensuring the responsible use of digital technologies, with a focus on national and European regulation and implementation. She designs and moderates dialogue formats, develops studies, contributes to the reframe[Tech] blog, and creates strategies to ensure that digital infrastructures align with the public good. Her previous roles at the European Parliament and GIZ centred on digital policy and international cooperation. Asena holds a dual master’s degree in Politics and Public Administration and European Governance from the University of Konstanz and Sciences Po Grenoble. As an alumna of the SWANS Initiative and the Deutschlandstiftung Integration, she is deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. She speaks fluent German, Turkish, English, and French.
