Direnç Bada is a senior associate at Gün + Partners Law Firm. He is experienced in advising multinational companies focusing on the Turkish market in matters related to dispute management, IP, and IT. He holds his LLB and LLM degree (in Information Technology Law) from Istanbul Bilgi University. Direnç holds CIPP/E certificate from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is on the route to becoming a solicitor in England and Wales. He is currently serving as a board member in Istanbul Arbitration Association and Better Justice Association (particularly working on projects related to rule of law). He also participated as a representative at Council of Europe World Forum for Democracy and United Nations Economic and Social Council during his law studies. His research interests are cyber diplomacy,data-driven technologies and the change they bring to the legal system, and their effect on international relations.
