Eylem Nazlı Taşdemir works as a Senior Program Officer at Columbia Global Centers Istanbul, one of the nine Global Centers of Columbia University, serving as a hub for Columbia’s programs and initiatives relevant to Turkey and the region. Eylem has experience working with a multinational company as a Marketing Communication Specialist where she gained solid experience with the private sector. She also worked with an NGO as a Training Coordinator where she developed and designed training programs and plans for projects focusing on child labor, gender equality, and youth development. Eylem received her B.A. degree with Honors in History from Bogazici University, spending an exchange semester at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She holds an M.A. in Gender Studies from Central European University, spending a semester at University of Vienna with full fellowship.
