Short biography

Fulya Kocukoglu works as an Associate at Global Relations Forum in Istanbul. Also, she is one of the co-founders of the Bruxircle youth platform, which has a particular focus on EU-Turkey relations. She contributes to this voluntary organisation as a policy advisor and social media manager. Additionally, she writes articles for Unfiltered Voices, an independent news platform, as human rights and security analyst. She holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex and an LL.M. in Human Rights Law with a secondary specialisation in International Development from the University of Kent-Brussels School of International Studies. She received her BA in Political Science from Galatasaray University. During her studies, she served as a legal advisor at the EU Rights Clinic, spent one year as a researcher at the TÜSİAD EU-Brussels Representative Office, and worked as a press officer at the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
