Short biography

Gesa Storz is working in the European Parliament. She holds a bachelor’s and double Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Passau, the Europa-Universität Viadrina and the Institut d’Études Politiques de Strasbourg (Sciences Po Strasbourg). During the course of her studies she completed traineeships in France, Namibia and Belgium. After working as policy advisor for Franco-German research cooperation at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, she moved to Brussels to work in the European Parliament, where she held various positions as parliamentary assistant to the President of a political group and as advisor for foreign affairs. Currently she is heading the office of a German Member of the European Parliament, who is also Chair of the European Parliaments’s delegation to the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee. She is advising him in the Committee on Foreign Affairs, with a focus on Turkey, Russia, Eastern Partnership Countries and the US.
