Irem Röntgen is a Berlin-based project manager and researcher with ten years of experience in international development, anti-corruption, and financial crime prevention. She currently works in Deutsche Bank’s Business Intelligence Unit, where she supports enhanced due diligence processes by producing reports focused on geopolitical, financial crime, and reputational risks.
Previously, she managed anti-corruption projects at Transparency International, specializing in climate governance and business integrity. In this role, she collaborated with civil society partners in more than 25 countries.
Irem holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe and a BSc in International Relations from Middle East Technical University. Originally from Turkey and committed to multilateralism and democratic accountability, she is interested in fostering inclusive and constructive dialogue between Turkey and Europe.
She speaks Turkish, English, French, and German.
