Maxi Hülsen has been working at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) in Berlin since 2016, where she currently heads the Türkiye department. Her first professional positions took Maxi Hülsen to the Friedrich Ebert Foundation’s liaison office to the United Nations in New York and to Moscow, where she headed the study program “German Studies Russia” at the renowned State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) in cooperation with FU Berlin. Maxi holds a master’s degree in political science, British/American Studies and Russian Studies from Potsdam University. While working, she also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Hamburg School of Business Administration and wrote her thesis as a scholarship holder of the E.ON Scholarship Fund at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo.
