Nur Banu Özkut Özgün

Nur Banu Özkut Özgün is the Deputy Director at Refugee Rights Türkiye, a civil society organization she co-founded in 2014. She works at the intersection of migration governance and human rights, combining policy engagement with program implementation on the ground. She collaborates with public authorities, international donors, and civil society actors to strengthen access to protection. She holds degrees in Political Science and International Relations and Philosophy from Boğaziçi University. Her work focuses on how policy frameworks translate into real–life access to rights.
