Short biography

Pauline Seyfert works as department head for public and funded projects, market consulting and trade fairs at the German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Istanbul. Her field of work concentrates primarily on energy-related topics with a focus on the energy transition as well as bilateral cooperation and projects with the public and private sectors between Turkey and Germany. As part of her work, Pauline Seyfert heads the Energy Secretariat of the German-Turkish Energy Partnership. She has a wide range of experience in the field of marketing and worked as junior marketing manager at Philips in Switzerland. She completed a dual bachelor’s degree in business administration in cooperation with the company Philips at the Nordakademie in the area of Hamburg and obtained an MBA degree from Istanbul’s Bahcesehir University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in parallel to her occupation at the Istanbul Commerce University in the subject of international trade with a focus on German- and European-Turkish trade relations and the modernization of the EU-Turkey customs union. As part of her education and professional career, she gained international experience in Switzerland, the USA and Turkey.
