Sarah holds an MA from SOAS and a BA from Bard College Berlin.
She has worked in the field of civic education and civil society engagement, most recently organising networking events, facilitating workshops, and consulting for civil society actors in rural Germany as a project manager at Aktion Zivilcourage e.V. Her work has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and potential of civic engagement in less urban regions. She is also a trained moderator for municipal conflict and crisis resolution.
Through programs by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung), she engaged with civil society actors in Türkiye and Israel. She hopes to build on these experiences by creating spaces for dialogue and strengthening cross-border collaboration between civil society organisations.
