Being affiliated with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Fulden Eskidelvan is currently engaged in a global programme on migration and diaspora. As a project manager, she is cooperating with partners worldwide on improving migration governance structures. Her GIZ journey started in Ankara when joining a bilateral project fostering German-Turkish institutional partnerships on flight, migration, and integration. Prior to joining GIZ, she was associated with the University of Cologne as a lecturer and project manager. In later context, she was working in a German-Turkish project fostering higher education cooperation supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Besides her professional specialisation and multidisciplinary academic profile (political science, economics, and anthropology), democratisation, decentralisation and state-building processes are her interest areas.
